Behind the lens, I’m a husband and girl-dad. I live with my beautiful family in the Pacific Northwest, based in Spokane, WA. I love a good cup of pour over coffee and hiking in the great outdoors.
To photograph a Catholic Wedding is to tread on holy ground.
It is a privilege to witness the profound graces of the Sacrament of Marriage and an honor to be invited to capture those moments so closely as a photographer. I strive to create images that are beautiful, rich, full of emotion, timeless and true to life. As a lifelong Catholic, I know the Mass well and can capture all the sacred moments it contains. My approach is to tell the unique story of your wedding day by capturing all the parts of your day, from the most simple to the most joyful.
My prayer is that the images will bring you back to the moments they portray and capture the graces those moments contained. It would be an honor to work with you on your Wedding Day!
The name Verso l’alto Photography comes from a saying from a man named Pier Giorgio Frassati. It means “To the heights.” My favorite thing about photography is the chance to pause and preserve a moment in time. To capture the grace of the present moment, I like to say. A photograph offers the opportunity to remember all the emotions, thoughts and feelings from that particular moment and often lift our hearts to something higher. I pray these photographs and moments allow your hearts to be lifted up to the heights.
