Behind the lens, I’m a husband and father. I live with my beautiful family in the Pacific Northwest, based in Spokane, WA. I love a good cup of pour over coffee and hiking in the great outdoors.

The name Verso l’alto Photography comes from a saying from a man named Pier Giorgio. It means “To the heights.” My favorite thing about photography is the chance to pause and preserve a moment in time. To capture the grace of the present moment, I like to say. This affords the chance to be able to go back to a photo and remember all the emotions, thoughts and feelings. I feel that this allows our hearts to be lifted up to the heights to be reminded with gratitude of what was pictured.
